Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the findME Android application or this website. By downloading, installing, or using findME, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Radikal Solutions ("Radikal Solutions", "we", "us"). We are based in South Africa, and these Terms are governed by South African law.

1. Description of the Service

findME is a personal safety application that allows registered users to send their real-time GPS location and a customisable SOS message to pre-configured emergency contacts via SMS and push notification. The app is designed to operate discreetly, with a disguised calculator interface and a hardware trigger (5-second volume-button hold).

findME is a supplementary safety tool, not a substitute for emergency services. In any life-threatening situation, call 10111 (SAPS) or 10177 (emergency medical services) immediately.

Subscription payments are processed by Google Play. All refund requests must be submitted to Google Play within their applicable refund window. We do not issue independent refunds except where required by the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

⚠️ findME is provided "as is" and "as available". While we make every effort to ensure reliability, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, delivery of SMS alerts, or GPS accuracy at all times. Network outages, device battery states, or third-party service failures may prevent alerts from reaching their destination.

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Radikal Solutions disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Radikal Solutions and its employees, directors, and contractors shall not be liable for:

All content, trademarks, logos, source code, and intellectual property in findME and on this website are the exclusive property of Radikal Solutions. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Dashboard → Profile Management → Deregister Account). Deleting your account:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue findME (or any part thereof) at any time with reasonable notice. We will notify active subscribers via email before any material changes that affect paid features.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via the email associated with your account at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of findME after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall first be referred to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the South Gauteng High Court (or the Magistrate's Court of appropriate jurisdiction), South Africa.
